This has been around for awhile but I figured that some people might not be aware of it.

Microsoft XP reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for MS's own purposes by default... Here's how to get it back:(Waste not = want not)

It might not increase your download speed considerably, but it's will make your surfing better, and help reduce timeouts.

There are a few more tricks that I will share if peeps are interested and this thread gets any attention.

Windows Steals Bandwidth
This is good idea to increase the speed but as one of the friend said that it is not good for the game and performance. I have tried in Windows 7 this but not work properly in it
